Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to her Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother. She is a well-known actress on television. De La Garza is a gorgeous actress, born 1977 in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad as well as an Irish American mom. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. There, she embarked on a profession as a physical therapist. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in independent local film as well as international commercials. Despite the small parts she discovered her passion for acting. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she landed her first role as an actor on All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she played tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. After a short run, her character migrated into Law & Order: LA. Her character received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko, as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC after only two episodes.
