Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor who is best known for his role as the star of the well-known TV series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting in his early days at college and studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been active in both films and television, however it is his roles on the small screen that gave him popularity and much fan following. There is no doubt that he has been able grab the attention of viewers by playing characters that are either sides of the legal system. He portrayed the role of a serial killer on the first TV series he appeared in and then went on to portray the character as an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen appearances. His signature striking blue eyes that are said to make his look attractive. They've helped him portray rough characters in a charismatic style. He was featured in 2006 when he appeared in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
